TAPM Article Submission Guidelines
TAPM Article Guidelines:
Thanks so much for your interest in submitting an article to TAPM. Having your articles on mediation and related topics published is a tremendous, exclusive benefit of your TAPM membership. Your article may be featured on the TAPM website, newsletter or possibly other materials created from time to time by TAPM and your name will be featured prominently for readers to see. It is our hope that such exposure will benefit not only the mediation and community at large, but also your individual mediation practice. Take a moment to review the TAPM Article Submission Guidelines and please make sure your submission complies with these guidelines. Thanks again for taking advantage of this exclusive TAPM Member benefit:
1. Articles shall consist of appropriate material and topics for our members and audience. TAPM reserves the right to refuse to post any article for any reason.
2. Articles should be written with the non-mediator reader in mind. Writers should refrain from using technical jargon such as “caucus” or “tripartite” where possible so that a non-mediator reader considering mediation services can also benefit from the article.
3. Articles shall be 500 words or less. TAPM reserves the right to refuse to print any article, to edit the articles in any manner and the Writer grants the TAPM the right to utilize the article on the website, on printed materials or other venues where TAPM might find it appropriate to use the article or portions thereof.
4. TAPM will accept un-fully proofed articles as Emily Ghearing, TAPM Intern and an English Major, will proof the articles and edit as needed.
5. Articles should be submitted as a Word document, in a modifiable format.
